"A good laugh is sunshine in the house." — William Thackeray

These days, it might be easier to find a reason to cry, but finding a reason to laugh is a lot more fun!

Humor is a powerful tool to help you cope with your pain, heal from your past, and encourage you to move forward. It also brings people together, strengthening bonds and improving relationships. But, humor does so much more, making laughter the best medicine.

When you laugh, your brain releases endorphins, the body's natural feel-good chemicals. Endorphins make you feel happy, promote well-being, and can even temporarily relieve pain.

In addition, laughter reduces levels of cortisol, a stress hormone, which relaxes your muscles and lowers blood pressure. It also increases immune cells and infection-fighting antibodies, which improves your resistance to disease. For these health benefits and more, you should be able to find a reason to laugh today.
