ALOHA IS....celebrating The Aloha Guru's first Golden Pineapple. A Golden Pineapple is someone who epitomizes the Aloha spirit and positively impacts the lives of others with their character or actions in love, kindness, compassion and courage.
Lindsay Gosch of Syracuse, NY is no stranger to random acts of kindness. In fact, her mission in life is to bring smiles to as many faces as possible. I first met Lindsay while on a business trip to San Diego over 15 years ago. We were both vendors at a trade show and we became fast friends. From watching her 3,000 miles away, this is just a sampling of the wonderful things she's done during the quarantine.
🍍Lindsay sent craft kits to kids not only to support small businesses on Etsy or because kids love mail, but also because she knew parents might struggle with creating activities daily.
🍍For families with parents who lost their jobs, she offered bags of granola bars, fruit snacks, pop tarts, peanut butter and jelly, pasta and sauce, and a box of rice.
🍍She also left oranges and echinacea tea on her neighbors' doorsteps to help boost their immunity.
🍍She even made a pick-your-own balloon station for anyone who needed a smile.
Lindsay, your random acts of kindness overwhelm me and that is why I chose you to be my first Golden Pineapple! You epitomize love, kindness, and compassion in everything you do and everything you are not only to the people in your neighborhood or your life but to the community at large.
I always say, "When you cannot find the light; be the light." Thank you for being the light in our darkest days. Keep shining your light and spreading aloha. You make the world a better place to live!
