Blowing Out the Birthday Candles

24 Oct

Aloha is...welcoming a new year of dreaming, believing and achieving

I could not let today go without expressing my sincere gratitude for all the aloha I've received in the beautiful messages from all my Pineapples from all corners of the globe via Facebook, Instagram, text and phone calls. Your love, kindness and continued support on my journey encourages me in ways you might not expect.

You see, I am not perfect. I am not always positive. And, sometimes I wonder if I've even made any progress. I make mistakes, get impatient, and can still be hard on myself for screwing up on my goals and for having to start over a million times. But, I continue to practice aloha and being positive like everybody else.

This past year I struggled with three injuries, two infections and a job transition and I'm still not yet back to my old self. Maybe I'm not meat to be.  Maybe this is the uncomfortable part of personal growth and for preparing for something bigger.

But I don't believe in giving up.  That much I know for sure!  Instead, I step back, reset intentions, recharge and focus on recovering no matter how many times I fail.

Getting back to my old self means moving forward.  All I can do is continue putting one foot in front of the other until I get there. Besides, every setback is a setup for great success if you take the time to learn and grow from the lesson, right?

So, 47, let's do this - only with a little more compassion, wisdom, renewed faith, gratitude and an unwavering belief in myself, my dreams and my mission in aloha mana.

Wishing you all peace, love and alohaaaaaaaaa from San Diego!

Live, Love and Lead with Aloha.
