Aloha is...leaving all doubt behind you.
Today, I got on the TRX equipment at the gym for the first time in at least three months to do one simple back exercise. I've had a lot on my mind for weeks now, walking around in a fog of my own "stuff." Well, right in the middle of a set of lat pulls, I just happened to look beyond my hands, through the TRX bands and up high on the gym wall and saw a quote that read: "Leave all doubt behind."
I've walked into this gym countless times and yet I felt like I was reading this quote for the first time . How could I have missed it?
Again, I've been walking in a fog. Being injured for so long made me doubt about my return to normal activities. I had doubts I'd train like I used to again. I had doubts I'd take this weight off again. I had doubts that I'd be the woman that I was before the injury again.
Negative and self-limiting thoughts, beliefs and feelings can be overwhelming at times. Of course, it can take practice being positive, optimistic and confident. It can take practice being bold and brave. But, be open to signs and signals to keep going. Encouragement and the answers to your questions are all around you if you pay attention. So, look and listen for the signs. Sometimes we just need these little reminders to put things in perspective and to give us a little push.
Life is meant to be lived to the fullest - all its up's and down's. So, do your best to ride the waves out, leave all doubt behind you and just keep going. Your goals and dreams are worth it. Your life is worth it!
You are worth it!
Live, Love and Lead with Aloha.
