UCONN IN THE HOUSE!
Aloha is...a last-minute mini UConn reunion over coffee first thing in the morning! What an awesome way to start an Aloha Friday!
You know you're from Connecticut when you coordinate outfits with UConn alumni for a photo opportunity and one wears a scarf in SoCal weather. Hysterical!
Today, I got to meet up with my friend, UConn alum and saxophone extraordinaire Kevin DelMastro and meet his UConn buddy, Simon. Simon is a teacher back in Connecticut, visiting on spring break.
Simon got his master's degree at UConn. Kevin and I both got our bachelor's degree there. I'm from the Class of '94. These guys are Class of '99.
UCONN FUN FACT: I just found out today that we all lived in the International House in West Campus - Alsop-A! I was there my entire college career and these guys were there briefly just 5 years after me....How crazy is that???
CT FUN FACT & 6 DEGREES MOMENT:
Simon works with Kim Rotondo back in Wilton. I went to school with one of Kim's older sisters. Simon became close friends with Kim's hubby last year, who unbeknownst to him, was also a friend of Kevin's from way back when. Crazy circle of connections!
Honestly, it's my mother isn't it? I think she's planting spies....
