On the 11th day of Christmas Aloha, I peppered a parking lot with written positive messages.
It was Christmas Eve, and, like most people, I had last-minute errands to run, including an eye doctor appointment for an exam and to remove a torn contact lens stuck in my eye. As irritated as I was, I chose this moment to spread aloha.
A kind word can go a long way. It can lift someone's spirits, improve their mood, and give them hope. So, I chose kind words, crafted into positive affirmations, to place on 30 car doors for my 11th day of Christmas Aloha.
A positive affirmation is a magic spell you cast on yourself to think, feel, and do better in life. Planting kind words in your mind is like planting seeds in hopes they grow into a beautiful garden - only the garden you're cultivating is a positive mindset. When used regularly, positive affirmations can help build courage, confidence, self-esteem, and self-worth.
Sharing kindness pumps positive vibes into the world and creates harmony within yourself, with each other, and with nature. Spread positive vibes by encouraging someone with a kind word today!
Mele Kalikimaka and Merry Christmas!
*For the 12 days of Christmas Aloha, I'm using the 12 days before Christmas to inspire people to be more loving, kind, and compassionate with themselves and each other.
