12 Days of Christmas Aloha: Day 5

19 Dec

On the fifth day of Christmas Aloha, I donated to a blanket drive for the homeless.

Most people think Californians run around in bikinis all day and surf, but I assure you it can get cold, especially at night. We even wear coats, sweaters, hats, and boots!

Born with the aloha spirit, my friend and mortgage professional Pam Campbell @ilendgirl not only understands the plight of the homeless in San Diego but also decided to do something about it! This week, her business, iLendGirl, partnered with Cali Ego Clothing @caliegoclothing for their first annual blanket (and jacket) drive to help keep the homeless of San Diego warm this winter.

Yesterday, I was able to find three blankets to help support their cause and I'm happy to report that they've collected tons! But, they're still accepting more blankets and jackets TODAY- before they deliver them on December 23rd!

Please consider keeping someone warm this winter with a warm gesture. Donate blankets to the homeless in your city or town today!

*For the 12 days of Christmas Aloha, I'm using the 12 days before Christmas to inspire people to be more loving, kind, and compassionate with themselves and each other.
