I Can Keep Trying

I can't tell you how frustrated I was last year with back issues, pain, and having the willpower to eat healthy. I finally threw my hands up, accepted the situation, and gave myself that grace period.

This year, game on. But, it's still not easy. I reduced my sugars from HANDFULS of candy a few times a day to barely any candy at all. And, I've gone from eating two tubs of ice cream a week to one every two weeks. But, I've got a ways to go.

🍍Finish a book?

Achievement requires self-love and self-belief. Loving yourself and believing in yourself create a healthier foundation for achieving anything and the fuel you need to keep going when you want to quit.

Doing anything outside your comfort zone or doing anything new or different is also the way to build self-worth and self-esteem. The very act of trying says you are WORTH it! We get so caught up in the end game or achievement that we forget to live in the moment and give ourselves credit for even trying. So, be gentle with yourself in the process.

When you're frustrated or feel like you're failing, take some deep breaths and repeat: I can keep trying.
