Eating healthy can be a challenge, especially during a stressful time. But consider how you are thinking and feeling today. How do you feel in the skin you’re in right now? If there was something you wished was different about your health or your body, what would it be? Would it be to have more energy, have less body fat, sleep better, feel more relaxed or be stronger? With everything you eat, drink or do, ask yourself if it serves your health goals. If it doesn't, now's the time to examine how to make a positive change.
Don’t worry about being perfect at eating or drinking healthy. That’s where most people go wrong. Focus more on practicing self-care by being more mindful of your choices as you make them. Practicing self-care is another form of self-love. Practicing puts less pressure on you in the process. For example, pick and choose the times when you can eat healthier. Allow yourself those treats after your healthier choices. Drink a cup of water before each meal. Start or end your day with at least five minutes of meditation or prayer.
Think about how good you will think, feel and move through life with a healthier mind, body and spirit. That is self-love. Love yourself by loving your body. Feed your mind, fuel your body and nourish your soul. You can do it, my Pineapple!
