"No matter how hard the past is, you can always begin again.” - Buddha
With summer well underway, today, we enter the seventh month of the year and welcome the Fourth of July weekend. While many of us are still scratching our heads over how we’ve passed this year’s halfway point already, Mother Nature has marched on. She has proven that it’s always possible to move forward.
And, that’s just it, isn’t it? Time moves on. Time doesn’t stop to ask for directions. Time doesn’t take a vacation. And, time doesn’t stand still for anyone. Time keeps moving and encourages us to keep moving, too.
We can’t go backward and chase what might have been. The past is in the past. All we have is the present and continued hope for the future.
But, what we can do is make the most of the time we have while we have it. All we can do is meet today and embrace the gifts it brings.
Today bridges yesterday’s mistakes with tomorrow’s achievements. Today brings another chance to make our wrongs right. It opens a door, inviting us to walk through and become who we’ve always wanted to be. It carries hope to encourage us to keep looking ahead. And, it gives us the strength to begin again.
Every day is a chance to begin again. And, that day is today. Take a chance and embrace new beginnings.
Time is what you make of it. So, what will you do with it?
Live, Love, and Lead with Aloha.
